Review Board Members

The FCRO relies on your commitment to the process and your preparedness for every case you have the responsibility to review. Every child or youth whose case is reviewed by your Review Board deserves the best possible review by each review board member. As a review board member, the knowledge and experience you bring to the table adds to the quality of the case review and impacts the life of that child or youth. Your commitment to being present at every meeting to discuss your findings and recommendation on each child/youth’s case is key to a successful review.

Our goal is to provide you with the resources and tools you need to expand your knowledge of the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. We hope that the materials we provide and the training you receive, will help you become the best Review Board Member you can be.

A good part of this section has moved to our FCRO SharePoint site. Our Local Review Board Members have access to all our materials in the RESOURCES library on our secure FCRO SharePoint site. Those in training also have access to the secure SharePoint Training board.

This section of the FCRO website will now only include the FCRO Board Member Handbook.

The FCRO Review Board Member Handbook is a must read for every board member. The Handbook contains our policies and procedures related to your role as a review board member. All review board members must read the Handbook, and then print, sign and return the Acknowledgement Form to the FCRO office. The signed document is kept in each board member’s file. Please select the FCRO Review Board Member Handbook below to review.
